Dropped by the mall with my niece today and had such a fun time looking at shoes, going to sanrio, and playing with the Ipad at the apple store. I know I don't need one, but it's sooo cool!
After drooling over the shoes at Nordstroms, we decided to go to Payless afterwards to see what shoes they have that were actually affordable. To my surprise, they had a bunch of new Alice + Olivia and Christian Siriano shoes in stock.
The pair that I almost got impulsively were the A+O clogs. They were made from linen material and were soo cute and somewhat comfy. However, I decided they aren't practical and I'm steering away from the trendy shoes that I probably won't wear ever again a year from now. (aah, I say that now! haha)
Me & the Clogs! haha. Rockin' my new Eugenia Kim for Target hat too.
How great it must be to be Lourdes Leon, daughter of Pop Queen Madonna. She is collaborating with mom to create a new clothing line appropriately called Material Girl and it'll be sold at Macy's very soon. According to Madonna, she doesn't allow her children to watch TV and she's pretty strict on them. Luckily, they have other ways to make use of their free time huh?
Lourdes definitely knows how to age-appropriately dress and yet maintain a sophisticated chic look. I think she definitely has the Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen vibe going on and probably the potential to build a fashion empire just as great.

I love this brand. I know I keep reviewing Target products, but if you know me, I am the ultimate Target shopper.
I've bought a Sonia Kashuk hairbrush, lip palette, some eyeshadows, and several brushes. Everything so far has been wonderful.
The new eco-friendly line is out and I can't wait to check these out during my next Target visit. The bamboo handles are so cute and I like the cork material used to hold the eyeshadows.

What do you wear when you go workout?
I usually put on yoga pants or sweat pants and an old t-shirt or tank top. It's all about just being able to move around and not worry about how I'm looking.
When I saw Audrina Patridge's outfit while running the LA marathon, I was kinda weirded out. The last thing I would put on to go on a run is a skirt!
One of my favorite things to wear are these old navy yoga capris. I bought them a couple of years ago, and found them on the clearance rack for $5. I actually wear them around the house a lot too and sometimes just wear them over a t-shirt and go run errands in them.
Yesterday I went for a nice hike and took my dog along. He's a small dachshund/chihuahua and he really did a great job. Ever since our hike though, he's been tuckered out. haha. Poor guy.
After the hike, I realized I need new workout shoes. I have all of these uncomfortable shoes, so the ONE shoe that needs to provide the best comfort and support should be able to do its job.
Not sure what's out there that is affordable, but also comfy.
Fitness Magazine has a great article about the best comfy shoes out there for running.
Some shoes I'm gonna look into:
1. New Balance 749
2. Nike Zoom Vomero +4
I believe all American kids have all put a temporary tattoo on their bodies at least once in their lifetime. They're fun, you feel pretty...or tough (depending on your personality) and they make you feel like a grown-up.
Since I don't know what tattoo I'd want on my body, I'm in the search for chic temporary tattoos to play with. Ever since I saw the Chanel temporary tattoos, I was reminded of how fun they are. Of course if I had a choice, I would get the Chanel ones, but $75 for temp tattoos just seem a little excessive doesn't it? eeek.
Let's see if I can find any....

Monopoly is hands down my all time favorite board game and one of the reasons why is because it's endured the test of time. 'Til this day, I still play it and I'm just as competitive as ever, even beating out my 10 year old niece without any remorse. I'm evil.
So San Jose apparently has this life-size monopoly board game drawn at one of its parks and people are even filming a documentary about this board game and the culture it produces. Check out the article here.
Summer is approaching fast and that means everyone is trying to get fit to squeeze into their shorts, skirts, and (dun dun dun) BIKINIS!
I'm way too self-conscious to wear very small bikinis, but if you got the confidence, then why not?
These are the celebs who never fail to look good while sportin one. If I were them, I'd probably wear a bikini in the dead of winter! ha!
1. Vanessa Hudgens
3. Jessica Alba
Solestruck has the Clinics up for yet another round of pre-orders today! I wonder how fast they'll sell out. I am tempted.
Check out the other J. Campbell shoes on their website. A lot of them are already sold out too.
Two of my other picks on their website, that deserves honorable mention, but are not quite as great as the clinic
1. The Tickle
2. The Exam
My cousin got married this past weekend and I had a great time catching up with cousins and friends whom I haven't seen in months and even years! The table I sat at was near the picture set-up where the bride & groom took pictures. When it was open, my sister and I decided to take "Prom" pictures in that same setting. My sister said I had to use this picture to post, but let me tell ya, the other pictures were a lot more hilarious.
On another note, I didn't wear that H&M dress cuz it was a lil too form fitting for me & I didn't feel like wearing such a body hugging dress. Instead, I took out a dress I haven't even worn yet. This Rodarte for Target dress was paired with a yellow laced belt I got from F21. My niece teased me cuz she thought I looked like I was trying to look like a punk rock girl. At least now I know I can dress it down if I wanted to.
